Oktoberfest MusikFest at Homespun Kitchen and Bar

The Oktoberfest MusikFest Foundation is pairing up with Homespun Kitchen and Bar to put on the 3rd Annual MusikFest. This 3-day music festival benefits the Helping Hands Foundation and music majors at Dripping Springs High School. Simply donate 10 canned goods or $10 on Friday and you’ll get a wristband for access to whole weekend of shows. Not only will the Oktoberfest MusikFest at Homespun be a great weekend of live music, but it’s also a great opportunity to support your community.
5th Annual Dripping Springs Songwriter Festival

Where: Downtown Dripping Springs
What Time: Friday 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Austin may have some great music festival, but they can’t offer you the up-close and personal chance to see, hear and get to know some very talented and passionate songwriters like the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival does. For the 5th year of this excellent event near Caliterra, there will be several familiar faces brought back from the first four years and plenty of new faces! Just check out the full lineup of songwriters, and while you’re at it, check out the show schedule too. This may be full of free shows, but a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit, charitable organization, Kids in a New Groove.
Hill Country Living Festival + Rainwater Revival

Where: Dripping Springs Ranch Park & Event Center
What Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Last up on our list of the top events in Dripping Springs for October is the impactful Hill Country Living Festival + Rainwater Revival. While this event is happening the same weekend as the Songwriters Festival, this event will also feature live acoustic music. Plus, you’ll get to learn how to best preserve the natural resources that makes the Texas Hill Country such a beautiful and wonderful place to call home. Completely free, this event near Caliterra will include public speakers and over 100 vendors, exhibitors and experts to help you learn how to best be at home with nature.
