Could your taste buds feel this one coming? That’s right, it’s Taco Tuesday, and this time we’re going all in at Taqueria La Escondida in Austin. This hole in the wall gem is exactly what you need to satiate your taco cravings! Let’s show you what we’re talking about.
Hard to Spot, but Worth the Hunt
We’ve proven this before on previous Taco Tuesdays that while not all tacos near Dripping Springs are easy to find, they’re always worth the search. Taqueria La Escondida is tucked beside a Chevron gas station, but that doesn’t mean they serve up gas station level grub. If the multiple raving reviews have anything to say it’s that Taqueria La Escondida is worth finding. In fact, the name even literally translates to “The Hidden Taco Restaurant” so their not-so-easy-to-find location is purposeful.
Tacos in the AM
Is there any better way to start your morning than by eating a couple breakfast tacos? We sure don’t think so, and neither do the great people at Taqueria La Escondida! They’ve got all your favorite classics like Bacon and Egg, Chorizo and Egg, Potato and Egg and even Cactus and Egg. Whichever your taste buds are craving, we’d recommend getting more than one, because you’ll certainly wish you had after you take your first bite.
Tacos in the PM
Maybe you couldn’t get there in the morning for breakfast tacos, but you’re still craving them on this Taco Tuesday. Don’t fret! You can still head over to Taqueria La Escondida for their lunch tacos! With plenty of meat options like chicken fajita, pastor, carne guisada, lengua and barbacoa, it’s your own fault if you can’t find a taco that sounds delicious.
There are so many great options when it comes to tacos near Dripping Springs, but if you’re in the area, we’d recommend giving Taqueria La Escondida in Austin a shot.
