Dripping Springs is filled with tons of exciting Hill Country events this fall and we have a full list of dates for you to mark on your calendar! From Halloween themed events to Festivals, there is something for everyone. Here are just a few family friendly events to attend this season!
1. Boo at the ZOO (October 9, 2015)
Families and children of all ages are invited to the Austin Zoo! This is the perfect family friendly event leading up to Halloween and costumes are definitely encouraged! Make sure you bring a picnic dinner and a flashlight to better watch all the animals. Can’t make it on the 9th? Not to worry, the event will also be held on several other nights throughout October!
2. Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival (October 16-18, 2015)
The festival will be an exciting weekend event for all Dripping Springs’ families. This Hill Country event offers attendees the up-close and personal chance to see and hear all the talented singer/songwriters over the course of three days. 3. Old Texas Ghost Stories (October 23, 2015)
What better way to start celebrating Halloween than by hearing a few Old Texas ghost stories! This is a family friendly event, so bring a few blankets and chairs and head down to The Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead Museum on October 23rd.
4. TexARTS Fire & Ice Masquerade Ball (October 30, 2015)
The TexARTS Association for the Visual and Performing Arts will be celebrating their 10th anniversary by hosting a Fire & Ice Masquerade Ball. This will be a special celebration including Broadway-style entertainment and dancing all night long! The evening will also including dinner, a silent auction, and a VIP reception. All proceeds from this Hill Country event will help fund theatre productions, provide scholarships for TexARTS Academy students and more. For more information about purchasing tickets, click here.
