Father’s Day is right around the corner! Celebrate the dads that make the Caliterra community great with one (or several!) of the following ideas and local events around Dripping Springs.

1. Make a Dad-Craft

2. Go All Natural with the Wicked Healthy Father’s Day Event
When: Sunday, June 17th
Where: Skull and Cake Bones – Dripping Springs
What Time: 10am – 3pm
Join the local craft bakery Skull Cakebones’ Father’s Day Event with Wicked Healthy co-founder, Chef Chad Sarno, for a truly Texas-themed barbecue. Oh, and it’s all vegan.
The menu includes a “Texas BBQ plate” that comes with a vegan “Wicked” mushroom brisket, potato salad, slaw, pickles and local bread. There will also be chili cheese dogs from Field Roast Grain Meats, mac and cheese, grilled corn with chipotle lime butter, local peach cobbler, and of course, lots of beer. Adults $20, Kids (5-12) $10 at the door.
3. Challenge Dad at Disc Golf or Paintball
If you’re looking for something a bit more active than a normal golf trip this Father’s Day, the scenic Twin Parks Country Club in Dripping Springs offers disc golf, paintball, mountain biking courses and more! For more information, check out the Twin Parks Country Club’s website.
4. Take a Brewery Tour
Get Dad’s buzz on at the Twisted X Brewing Company’s brewery tour in Dripping Springs. No reservations needed, just show up at 1pm or 3pm, or simply grab a flight and chill with Dad in the Tasting Room anytime from 12PM – 8PM.
5. Cool Down with Dad
The Texas sun is making a strong showing this Father’s Day, so make sure dad stays cool with a swim at Hamilton Pool Preserve (reservations required), or at the less crowded, but still beautiful, Milton Reimers Ranch Park in Dripping Springs.
6. Relax at the Event Pavilion
Wind down the day with Dad by socializing and star gazing with other community members at Caliterra’s Event Pavilion!
