The 9th Annual Hill Country Rally For Kids event is happening in Dripping Springs on the weekend of August 14-16, 2015. This is one of the biggest hill country events of the year, so you are not going to want to miss out! There are several kid friendly activities, as well as things to do for adults.
This event is intended to help the needs of children in the community by providing financial support for extra curricular activities, educational opportunities, nutrition, and more. Each year, there is a growing need to support these children, making the Hill Country Rally For Kids a great opportunity to give back to the community while having fun.
The event is located at Camp Ben McCulloch, allowing event goers to camp out for the weekend. If you plan on doing so, click here. The rally fee is $10 per person (under 18 is free) and goes towards Amber’s Angels, Burke Center for Youth, Dripping Springs Youth Activity Fund, Red Arena, and Tiger Totes. In the event that you are not financially able to pay the entrance fee, email info@hcrally.com for free passes.
On Friday evening you can enjoy live music by the Jim Halfpenny Band and Carport Casanovas. There will also be plenty of delicious BBQ for you to enjoy. On Saturday, the real fun begins. There will be a Bike Fun Run, washer tournament, silent auction, several shows, and more BBQ. The event will conclude on Sunday with a worship service at 10am.
