It’s almost time for our 2nd annual Dripping Springs Race to Brunch 5k and Festival! As the event gets closer, there are only a few things left that you need to know. Below you will find the route that participants in this 5K near Austin will be following and additional event details.
Dripping Springs 5K Route
The race officially begins at 9 am on Saturday, May 11. Runners are encouraged to pick up their race packets on Friday, May 10 between 4 pm and 6 pm. If you are unable to pick up your packet on Friday, you can show up as early as 8am to pick up your race packets and warm up for the 5K. Participants will congregate at the Caliterra Welcome Center, 505 Wynnpage in Dripping Springs, on race day. The Dripping Springs 5K route takes you along the extensive trail system in Caliterra, where you can admire the stunning views of Onion Creek, which means minimal road running! Once you cross the finish line, you’ll be met with a finisher’s medal and a special, secret-recipe cocktail from Treaty Oak Distilling.

After the 5K, the real fun begins with the free festival! The festival, hosted at Caliterra in Dripping Springs, will feature brunch cuisine, such as tacos, crepes and acai bowls, from a variety of local vendors. Hudson’s on Mercer will have a bar serving mimosas, wine and beer. Artisans will have booths set up along the streets, selling jewelry, art, clothing and more. Lawn games, such as cornhole, will also available for the whole family to play. Also, be ready to jam out to The Flechaus Band, who will be performing live music!
