In fact, there’s going to be a whole Party for the Parks in October! About Party for the Parks
Set to be the biggest parks benefit party around, the Party for the Parks will be celebrating the 25th year of Austin Parks Foundation’s People + Parks. All benefits from the party will go towards helping to maintain and further park efforts to create a truly unique outdoor experience that everyone can enjoy. The cost per ticket is $150 and it’ll surely be worth it!
Everything Local
Just as the Part for the Parks is meant to celebrate the great local parks throughout our area, everything that you’ll be able to enjoy at the event like food, drinks and music will all be from local sources. For food, they’ll have Juliet Italian Kitchen, Kemuri Tatsuya, The Peached Tortilla, Chicon and Launderette. As for the beverages that’ll help quench your thirst and get you on the dance floor, adult beverages will be provided by Austin Cocktails, Austin Eastciders and Zilker Brewing. This year will also be the first year that the Party for the Parks has live music, which will surely make you want to get up and dance!
Going Once… Going Twice…
Aside from ticket sales, another way the Austin Parks Foundation is going to be able to further Austin parks is through a silent auction and a live auction. Both will have all sorts of items and packages from outdoor equipment to luxury vacations.
