Pioneer Day
When: Saturday, September 22
Where: Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead – Dripping Springs
What Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
While your kiddos can learn about history through a book every day, how often do they get to live it? Pioneer Day offers children of all ages the opportunity to experience what life was like for the settlers in the mid-1800s. There will be over 40 demonstrators of pioneer crafts and skills, such as butter churning and blacksmithing, and let’s not forget the re-enactments with rifles and a small canon. When Pioneer Day isn’t happening, the Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead is still one of our favorite educational Dripping Springs attractions!
