Cine Las Americas International Film Festival

For the 20th year, the Cine Las Americas International Film Festival will showcase contemporary films from North, Central, South America and the Caribbean. Come celebrate diversity in film and see some of the latest films from some exceptional filmmakers. It isn’t too late to get your badge!
Pecan Street Spring Art Festival
When: Saturday, May 6th – Sunday, May 7th
Where: East Sixth Street
What Time: Saturday 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM & Sunday 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
This free, family-fun event certainly isn’t new to Austin. In its 40th year, the Pecan Street Spring Art Festival is one of the largest and longest running art festivals in the nation and one of the most beloved Austin events! There’ll be plenty of live music, delicious local eats and plenty of breathtaking art.
Austin Fashion Week
When: Friday, May 12th – Sunday, May 21st
Where: Various Locations
Representing the vast amount of talent in the Lone Star State, Austin Fashion Week showcases the work of fashion designers, makeup artists, photographers and models from across Texas. If you truly love fashion, then you’ll want to make sure you make it out to some of the runway shows!
Saengerrunde Maifest
When: Saturday, May 13th
Where: Austin Saengerrunde and Scholz Garten
What Time: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
All about celebrating German heritage and food, the Saengerrunde Maifest is an all-day festival of German culture. And for those who enjoy delicious food and cold beer, this Austin event will have a community cookout and special tastings from Texas craft brewers.
