We’re now less than a month away from the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival, which we couldn’t be more excited about! Over these past couple of weeks, we’ve talked all about this 5K near Austin. We’ve given 5K training tips, a guide to help you fuel up and a guide on what gear you’ll need to run the 5K. However, since this isn’t just another 5K near Austin, we’ll also have plenty of things to do at the Race to Brunch 5K and Festival. This week, we’re focusing on the Dripping Springs organizations that will be benefitting from proceeds of the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival – the Dripping Springs Hi-Steppers and Dripping Springs Helping Hands Food Pantry.

Representing the Dripping Springs High Schools, the Dripping Springs Hi-Steppers is a dance team that has won all sorts of awards and competitions. The team has been dancing since 1987 and has been winning awards along the way. A portion of the proceeds from the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival will go to the Dripping Springs Hi-Steppers to help them continue to represent Dripping Springs ISD in the world of competitive dance.

The other major Dripping Springs organization that will benefit from the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival is the phenomenal Dripping Springs Helping Hands Food Pantry. This nonprofit organization near Caliterra in Dripping Springs is all about “neighbors helping neighbors,” and that’s why we’re so excited to be able to offer support to this wonderful program. No one should ever have to worry about where their next meal will come from, and if you come to the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival, then you can help us support local families, so they can always have a secure source of food.
Aside from these two Dripping Springs organizations, you can also support plenty of other local Dripping Springs businesses as we will have plenty of food vendors at this 5K near Austin. Register today to participate in the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival. If you don’t plan on running in the 5K, then all you need to do is just show up on Saturday, May 12 and be ready to have loads of fun! Stay in the loop about this festival and much more by following Caliterra on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
