It may be a little hard to celebrate on Halloween day since it’s on a Wednesday this year, but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the spook-tacular festivities the weekend before! Boo at the Zoo

Where: Austin Zoo
What Time: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
For a fun-filled evening at the Austin Zoo, come dressed in your Halloween costume and enjoy this zoo-wide event. Not only will the whole zoo be decorated for Halloween, but you’ll also get to meet their nocturnal animals and take an eerie train ride. Make sure to call to book your tickets for Boo at the Zoo as soon as possible. Tickets are $17.50 for adults and children. Kids under two years old get in free.
Proof & Coopers Annual Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival

Where: Proof and Cooper
What Time: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Get in the Fall spirit at Proof & Coopers Annual Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival this weekend and next! The kiddos will love getting to see all the different kinds of pumpkins, not to mention they’ll love getting to see Hootie the Magician and the musician, Mr. Will. There’ll also be carnival games, prizes and so much more.
Halloween Hootenanny

Where: Thinkery – Austin
What Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Get ready to celebrate Halloween in true Thinkery fashion! As with any and all Halloween events around Dripping Springs, you’ll want to come touting your best Halloween costume for this exclusive after-hours family event. The Halloween Hootenanny will have a lot of spellbindingly fun activities and some of the stations even give out prizes for completion. Member tickets are $11 for children and $13 for adults, whereas non-member tickets are $13 for children and $15 for adults.
Howl-O-Scream
When: Saturday October 27
Where: Dittmar Recreation Center, Givens Recreation Center, Gus Garcia Recreation Center and Turner-Roberts Recreation Center – ALL in Austin
What Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Head over to one of the four Austin recreation centers for Howl-O-Scream where you and your family can enjoy carnival games, treats and a haunted house. All ages are welcome to this event, and attendees get 10 free tickets, or for just $3, you can get unlimited tickets and a snack.
