We’re just a couple weeks away from the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival, and we can’t wait to see everyone there! Earlier, we talked about the beverages being provided by Twisted X Brewery, and while that handles the drink side of brunch, we’ve still got the food. Here’s the full scoop on the tasty grub that’ll be at the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival that’ll have you craving brunch in Dripping Springs every single day!
Tryst Food Truck
Giving everyone’s taste buds a reminder of what amazingly fresh, seasonal flavors taste like in the Texas Hill Country, the Tryst Food Truck will be serving up truly exceptional food at the Race to Brunch 5K and Festival. Some of the classic Tryst foods you can expect to see (and eat) at the event include the loaded fries, fried chicken and waffles and hot chicken sandwich.
Raza’s Food Shack
We’re no stranger to this next food vendor. You may remember Raza’s Food Shack from one of our past Taco Tuesday highlights, and if you haven’t made it over to this great taco place in Dripping Springs, don’t worry! They’re coming to us for the Race to Brunch 5K and Festival! We already know they have some of the best breakfast tacos, and how could a proper brunch in Dripping Springs be complete without tacos?
Dripping Springs Delights
Now that we’ve satisfied your brunch hunger, it’s time to make your sweet tooth happy! Let’s start with some sweet treats from Dripping Springs Delights. They’ll have virtually everything your sweet tooth could want from cookies and candy to chocolate covered goodies. Oh, and let’s not forget about the ice cream! Dripping Springs Delights won’t be the only Dripping Springs vendor scooping up some cold, sweet treats.
The Big Drip Ice Cream Parlor
If you’re wanting to go all out on the ice cream, which who doesn’t, you want to definitely get a scoop or three of the ice cream from The Big Drip Ice Cream Parlor. When it comes to cold, sweet treats, few can do better than The Big Drip. With dozens of flavors of ice cream, frozen yogurt and Italian fruit ice, you’ll just have to come to the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival to see what all they’ll be serving up!
There’s still plenty of time to get your tickets and register for the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival on Saturday, May 12. Tickets for the festival are free. As for the 5K portion, tickets are $20 for Caliterra residents and $30 for nonresidents. Now we do have to admit, the Caliterra Race to Brunch 5K and Festival isn’t the only thing happening in our city this next month.
