1. First Thursday

When: Thursday, April 5
Where: Downtown Dripping Springs
What Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
A long-standing tradition, everyone looks forward to First Thursday in Dripping Springs! As always, everyone is welcome to come to Downtown Dripping Springs to see the area come alive after 5PM. All the best of Dripping Springs’ local businesses and vendors will be there, and as with all the best events in Dripping Springs, there will be live music.
2. Kids Obstacle Challenge

When: Saturday, April 21
Where: Dripping Springs Ranch Park
What Time: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Do you need to get your kids to burn off some of that extra energy they seem to always have? Well, then you’ll want to check out the Kids Obstacle Challenge coming to Dripping Springs Ranch Park! The course is designed for kids ages 5-16, and there will be over a dozen fun and challenges obstacle courses for them to trek through. Be ready to get dirty because there will also be plenty of mud! While kids have to register, this event in Dripping Springs is completely free for parents.
3. Dripping Springs Founders Day Festival

When: Friday, April 27 – Sunday, April 29
Where: Mercer Street, Dripping Springs
What Time: Friday 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Founders Day Festival is the largest of all the events in Dripping Springs, as it unites our entire city to celebrate the founding of our lovely little piece of the Texas Hill Country. The three-day festival will be kicked off with the Grand Parade, followed by live music on two stages. This family-friendly event will have something for everyone, including a carnival, cooking competitions and arts and crafts vendors.
Of all the things to do in Dripping Springs this April, we just couldn’t help but put these three Dripping Springs events at the top of our list.
