1st Thursday Trivia
When: Thursday, July 5
Where: Twisted X Brewing Company
What Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Everyone in Dripping Springs knows about the fun 1st Thursday event, but not quite as many know about the fun 1st Thursday Trivia at Twisted X Brewing! Put on by AustinTrivia, this will be an excellent way to show off your brains and enjoy a couple cold ones in downtown Dripping Springs.
Friday Beer Garden
When: Friday, July 6, July 13, July 20 & July 27
Where: Rolling in Thyme & Dough
What Time: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
To celebrate the weekend, head to Friday Beer Garden at Rolling in Thyme & Dough! Every Friday, the event offers tasty beer, burgers, hand-cut Belgian fries, nachos and cheese platters.
Outdoor Movie Night – Finding Nemo
When: Thursday, July 19
Where: Founders Pool – 480 Founders Park Rd.
What Time: 8:00 PM
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, and don’t stop until you get to the Founders Pool for July’s Outdoor Movie Night! There will be a lifeguard on duty, so make sure to bring your suits and floaties. There will also be room for lawn chairs for all you land lovers. Admission is $3, and you can get your Finding Nemo tickets here.
Texanische Nacht
When: Saturday, July 21
Where: Austin Saengerrunde
What Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
It’s time to break out your boots and lederhosen because Texanische Nacht is back! The Cornell Hurd Band will have everyone tearing up the dancefloor with their combination of Western swing, classic country, boogie-woogie and a bit of rock ‘n roll. Make sure you get your tickets, because this is one of those events near Dripping Springs you certainly don’t want to miss.
Official Boutique Shopping Nights
When: Wednesday, July 25
Where: Boutiques of Historic Dripping Springs
What Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Leave the husband at home with the kids, because this event is specifically for the ladies! Grab all your gal pals and enjoy shopping at the wonderful boutiques in Historic Dripping Springs while you sip on some summer-inspired cocktails. Participants must be at least 21, and tickets are $5.
7th Annual Dripping Springs Fair and Rodeo
When: Friday, July 27 – Sunday, July 29
Where: Dripping Springs Ranch Park & Event Center
What Time: Friday begins 6:00 PM & Saturday and Sunday begin 9:00 AM
Nothing beats a good ole fair and rodeo. The Dripping Springs Fair and Rodeo this year is sure to be just as much of a blast as last year, and we just can’t wait! Aside from the getting to see some of the finest rodeo skills, attendants will get to indulge in downright delicious food, cold beer, live music and so much more. There will also be plenty of fun activities for the little ones. There’s a $5 parking fee, but the fair is completely free! Tickets for the rodeo are free for kids 5 and under, $10 per night for kids 6-12 and $15 per night for adults.
