Wurstfest

Where: New Braunfels, Texas
The annual ten-day celebration, rich in German culture, is an event you don’t want to miss. The festival grounds open on weekdays at 5:00 pm and 11:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Children 12 and under will receive free admission and tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10. Admission to Wurstfest is free before 7 pm on Friday, 11/4 or after 3 pm on Sunday, 11/13. The event will feature food and drinks, kid’s activities, live music, carnival attractions, beer stein holding competitions, Polka dancing, and more!
Austin Celtic Festival
When: 11/5/16-11/6/16
Where: Fiesta Gardens
If you are looking for some unique things to do in Austin, check out the 20th Annual Austin Celtic Festival. The event will be featuring Irish, Scottish and Breton music, dance, sports, storytelling, workshops and more. Other activities will include a Celtic dog parade, Sheepdog herding demonstrations, combat demonstrations and various competitions. The family-friendly event will be open to all ages, and the gates open at 11:00 am both days. Kids under 12 will receive free admission, and single day tickets can be purchased for $19.
Blue Genie Art Bazaar
When:11/25/16-12/24/16
Where: The Marchesa Hall & Theatre
Don’t wait till it’s too late! Get a head-start on your holiday shopping at the unique Blue Genie Art Bazaar. Over 200 local artisans will be selling handmade artwork and gifts that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. The event will be open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Black Friday and will keep those hours until Christmas Eve. A percentage of the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant a wish for a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
