About the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival
The festival features more than 30 shows each day! You’ll discover a variety of songs and learn about the stories and people behind them. The local, national, and international songwriters will appear in popular music venues around Dripping Springs.

Headliners at the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival
To give you an idea of the type of performers you can see at the festival, past headliners have included Grammy Award winners and the people behind No. 1 hit songs. The festival hosts a few returnees as well as introduces new songwriters from four countries and 13 states!
Here is a sampling of some of the 2019 songwriters attending this year.
Adrian Bambrough: Hailing from Spain, Adrian has been writing for more than 20 years. As a first-timer to the festival, attendees will relish his international flavored music.
Shawn Byrne: Joining the festival from Nashville, Tennessee, Shawn was born with a love of music. He got his start at the famous Bluebird Café working as a dishwasher where he could listen to Nashville’s famous songwriters while working.
Karen Dahlstrom: Trekking to Dripping Springs from Brooklyn, NY, Karen gets inspiration from traditional folk ballads from her upbringing in the U.S. Northwest. Her songs contain stories of railroad towns and mountain mining camps.
Meagan Tubb: One of Dripping Spring’s own, Meagan presents the music of a bygone area with a blend of classic rock, blues, soul, Americana, and funk. Her “Let Me Believe” won an Independent Music Award for Best Song in the Blues category.
