Hays City Store
Hays City Store is a full-service restaurant with live music, a pizza kitchen, and an ice house. Many residents voted for HCS. So, it’s a must-try. The store is between Kyle and Wimberley in Driftwood at the intersection of FM 150 and FM 3237.
Hill Country Ranch Pizzeria
Don’t let the Pizzeria in its name fool you. The burgers at Hill Country Ranch Pizzeria (598 US-290 Ste 250, Dripping Springs, TX 78620) have a lot of fans. Reviewers say the pizza here is one of their faves, but so are the burgers.
RoadRunners
You won’t find Wile E. Coyote here. RoadRunners (235 Sports Park Rd., Dripping Springs, TX 78620) features a full bar, kitchen, live music, and games including 18-hole mini-golf, disc golf, and ping pong.
Lono’s Food Truck
The only food truck mentioned gets many thumbs up. The Lono’s Southern Cooking and Keto Cuisine food trailer is located at 100 S. Canyonwood, Dripping Springs, TX 78620. They serve Holiday House flamed-kissed burgers, snow cones, and keto desserts. The menu contains Tex-Mex items and Italian dishes.
Hat Creek Burger Co.
Hat Creek Burger Co. has many locations around Texas including one in Dripping Springs at the modern Belterra Complex (166 Hargraves Dr., F-100., Dripping Springs, Texas 78737). The kids will love playing in the playscape with a renovated airstream next to the patio.
Tillie’s at Camp Lucy
Here’s another place we’ve written about as Camp Lucy makes for a wonderful Dripping Springs getaway. Tillie’s (3509 Creek Rd., Dripping Springs, Texas 78620) is named for the founder of Camp Lucy and a popular spot for the locals. Many folks rave about the various items on the menu, so it’s no surprise the American Nouveau restaurant has outstanding burgers.
West Henly Boil Shack
Located 15 minutes away from Dripping Springs, West Henly Boil Shack (7792 E US Highway 290, Johnson City, TX 78636) is known as a seafood restaurant that serves burgers and wings. It’s a great place to go for outdoor seating because a lot of it is shaded. They welcome leashed pets too.
