Family Business Beer Company (19510 Hamilton Pool Rd., Dripping Springs, TX 78620) is just down the road from Hamilton Pool. So, it’d be a perfect way to spend the day with pool, pizza, and brew. Distillery Destinations in Dripping Springs
If you’re up for a spirited adventure of spirits, here are some of the distilleries worth visiting. First up is Treaty Oak Distilling, (16604 Fitzhugh Rd, Dripping Springs, TX 78620), a distillery named after a 500-year-old tree in Austin where Stephen F. Austin signed agreements to define the borders of Texas. It’s the fourth distillery to open in Texas.
They have an onsite restaurant known as Alice’s Restaurant where you can relish BBQ with your Treaty Oak whiskey or Waterloo gin. You can expect a menu loaded with Texas favorites.
Another option is Frog Pond Distillery (261 Frog Pond Ln., Dripping Springs, TX 78620), a small-batch, family-owned distiller that produces gin and vodka. They host tastings, tours, and cocktails. Stop by and enjoy a cocktail on their porch overlooking the hill country.
Right by Frog Pond is Remington Family Distillers (252 Frog Pond Ln., Dripping Springs, TX 78620). They feature a tasting room where you can sample their craft spirits and handcrafted cocktails on their rotating menu.
