Dreamland (2770 W Hwy 290, Dripping Springs, TX 78620) in Dripping Springs has so much to offer for the entire family. They also have something just for the kids!
What Is Kid’s Day at Dreamland?
Dreamland is an outdoor recreation, entertainment, and arts venue spread across a vast 64 acres in Dripping Springs. On the first Saturday of the month, they hold Kid’s Day with lots of fun activities.
Kids can have their faces painted, watch balloon animals come to life, and pet the animals at the petting zoo. Kids can get henna tattoos and ride the barrel train. If you live in the Caliterra community, you can be at Dreamland within 10 minutes.
The next Kid’s Day is October 2. If your child has an October birthday, they get in free! That’s right. When they go to Kid’s Day at Dreamland on their birthday month, it’s free. Kid’s Day runs from 10 am to 3 pm. Each activity ranges from one to three tickets. Each ticket is $1 or you can get 15 for $12.
Want to make it a family affair? The venue only charges for mini-golf, disc golf, pickleball, merchandise, food, and beverages.
Sustainability
What’s cool about Dreamland is that sustainability is one of its core values. The venue captures rainwater in its iconic tanks and uses that water for many operations. They also have Tesla charging stations and a solar array on the roof of the bar and beer garden. The solar energy powers various parts of the property. They aim to operate as close to carbon-neutral as possible.
The entertainment venue partners with multiple organizations to raise money and awareness for programs they believe in. They’ve partnered with Andy Roddick Foundation to provide under-resourced Austin children with opportunities. Another group they’ve supported is Well Aware, which works to provide sustainable safe water in East Africa.
