The gallery also has an impressive collection of rare Texas maps and documents from the early days of Texas statehood. You can shop online, but history fans looking for that perfect statement piece will want to stop by during gallery hours Monday – Friday 10 AM to 4 PM.
This local gallery is all about giving local artists a place of community to connect with other artists, grow in their craft, and showcase their work. Located on Mercer Street (hence the name), visitors who come through its gallery doors will discover everything from paintings and illustrations to jewelry and even clothing for purchase. The selection changes often so you’re bound to see something new with each visit. The gallery is open Wednesday – Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM.
This garden and gallery is without a doubt, one of the most unique destinations in Dripping Springs. It’s the perfect spot to visit if you want to be surrounded by eclectic art and nature. As its website states, it’s “west of weird, east of normal.” The outdoor gallery showcases large sculptures of stone, wood, glass, and metal from artists around the country. Visitors can wander through gardens past smiling frog statues, oblong metal sculptures, and stacked stones that intrigue the mind in different ways. Swing by the gift shop on your way out and you’ll find handmade cards and birdhouses, jewelry, and seasonal goods. The gallery/garden is open Tuesday – Friday 10 AM to 5 PM, Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from noon to 5 PM.
