If you’re a regular coffee drinker, you’re almost certain to have a favorite coffee shop. The sorta place where once the barista hands you your beverage of choice, your day gets a little bit better, and there’s some extra perk in your step.
Dripping Springs is fortunate to have some wonderful local coffee shops. These caffeinated spots are great for grabbing a cup of joe and getting some work done, settling in with a good book, or just catching up with an old friend.
Rootline Coffee: Whether you’re trying a Caramel Delight Latte or just a regular black coffee, you can bet that you’re getting premium beans in your cup with this coffee roaster. That’s because this local roaster owns its coffee farm in the mountains of Nicaragua. It’s here that the terrain, altitude, and climate come together to create the perfect ecosystem for delicious coffee.
While Rootline’s shop is small – it’s not much more than a silver trailer – the flavors are big and bold. You can also shop for coffee via the website and even create a gift box of delicious coffees direct from Dripping Springs.
Le Muse Coffee and Wine Bar: Located on Wynnpage Drive, Le Muse is a little slice of Parisian coffee culture right here in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Since 2016, the owners have dedicated themselves to offering tasty coffees, pastries, and a delicious selection of wines. Peruse the menu, and you’ll find macarons and cupcakes mixed in with pour-overs, cortados, espressos, and Vietnamese coffee.
You’ll also want to be sure and swing by on Fridays after work for happy hour specials on wine and small bites.
Mazama: This local Dripping Springs roaster and coffee bar is known for selecting a variety of beans from around the globe and roasting them locally to create an unbelievable cup of coffee. The downtown shop is run by a small but dedicated team who take pride in everything from the roasting process to creating drinks ranging from Americanos to chai lattes, as well as an assortment of teas and fruit smoothies.
And if you need to take your coffee to go, we recommend grabbing one of the steel tumblers and a homemade pop-tart.
Rolling in Thyme & Dough: Don’t get us wrong, this local shop makes a mean cup of coffee and is more than capable of satisfying your caffeine craving. It’s so much more than a coffee shop, though. The local bakery and all-things-delicious are one of the best spots in town to grab breakfast or lunch. The outdoor patio area is perfect for catching up with friends while enjoying a sandwich on a freshly baked croissant or mixed greens salad with chicken.
Not only is this local eatery a must-try for coffee or a meal, but the proprietors also offer catering and can bake up an array of delicious cakes that will surely be the star of any event.
While you’re sure to enjoy every sip of your coffee order from these local java spots, sometimes a delicious cup of coffee is best enjoyed right on the front porch at home. If you’d like to find a home in Dripping Springs, reach out to us to learn more about the master-planned Caliterra community.
