The Annual Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival returns October 15 to 17. Music lovers will have the opportunity to relish three full days of music up-close and personal.
Performances run continuously on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the festivities will feature a spirited Gospel Brunch Showcase at Hudson’s on Mercer Street followed by the Festival Wrap-Party in front of the Barber Shop.
What Is the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival?
The festival features more than 70 songwriter showcases sprawled across downtown Dripping Springs. The local, national, and international songwriters will appear in various venues including a brewery.
You have the chance to discover 50 songwriters from 12 states and two countries. They’ll play “in-the-round,” Nashville-style on seven intimate stages.
The stages will be at the following venues:
- The Barber Shop
- Mazama Coffee Co.
- Acopon Brewing
- Sidecar Tasting Room
- Hudson’s on Mercer Street
- Dog ‘N’ Bone
- courtyard at The Warehouse District
Most of the stages are outdoor and open-air. They’re all walking distance of each other in downtown Dripping Springs. Admission to all the showcases is free with registration. During the weekend, a free mobile-exclusive digital pass will be available for attendees to check in and redeem discounts at participating local partner locations within the Dripping Springs downtown area.

The esteemed group of songwriters includes 30 returning songwriters and 20 first-timers to the festival.
