Are you ready for some fresh air and a heaping helping of fun while exercising? Join us for the Third Annual Dripping Springs Race to Brunch 5K at Caliterra on Saturday, May 8 from 8 am to noon.
Best of all, you’ll be rewarded at the finish line with a delicious cocktail (for those 21 and over) brunch thanks to our partners at Treat Oak Distillery. The cocktail will be served in a signature event champagne flute thanks to our partners at MidCentury Custom Homes!
About the 5k Race at Caliterra
The 5k run takes you on the scenic trails of Caliterra with views of Onion Creek. Everyone who registers will receive an awesome finisher’s medal, event t-shirt, swag bags provided by Drees Home, the finish line brunch treat, and an entry to win an Apple Watch Nike SE! Those who love to compete and want to PR will be able to find out their times as the race is chip-timed.
If your goal is to achieve a personal record (PR), head over to Anytime Fitness. You can train there and get your legs ready to conquer “The Hill.” Anytime Fitness will also be at the race to get you warmed up to ensure a safe walk, jog, and run.
We’ll give out awards and cash prizes for first through third place for overall male and female winners as well as first place winner in the stroller category. Packet pick-up is at the Caliterra Clubhouse (26025 Ranch Rd. 12, Dripping Springs, TX 78620) on Friday, May 7 from 4 to 6 pm.
And safety is always our No. 1 priority. To ensure social distancing, participants will run in waves.
Post-Race Entertainment
The socially distanced event features local artisans, and a complimentary open-air photo booth thanks to our friends at Scott Felder Homes. We’ll also have food trucks, local artisans, and vendors! Of course, don’t forget, there’ll be brunch and cocktails. Did we say brunch and cocktails? Just making sure.
Oh, by the way, you don’t have to race to come out to enjoy the festivities! Live music starts at 10 am and it will be provided by the Soap Boxers, an Americana/roots rock band with a twist of folk, pop, and blues.
Do you live in Caliterra? Then you qualify for a special discount. Just go to the signup and select Caliterra resident. You’ll show your ID when you pick up the packet.
