Becker Vineyards
If you’d like a little adventure, head 55 miles to Fredericksburg, Texas to Becker Vineyards (464 Becker Farms Rd., Fredericksburg, Texas 78624). They require reservations and will only accept groups of six people. Everyone must wear a mask except while seated at the table. If you have a Christmas Wine Affair passport, Becker is one of the stops.
Bell Springs Winery
Bell Springs (3700 Bell Springs Rd., Dripping Springs, TX 78620) is open for tasting experiences as long as you make reservations. One thing worth checking out is the Bell Springs Supper Club Dinner. It’s a prix fixe three-course meal prepared by Chef Mike, using farm-to-table ingredients. It’s an opportunity to enjoy an outdoor dinner, under the stars. Fiesta Winery
Got your Christmas Wine Affair passport? Then, add the tasting room at Fiesta Winery (309 Main St. #9, Marble Falls, TX 78654) to your list of places to visit. They have four locations and the one in Marble Falls is the closest to Dripping Springs. Masks are required except when savoring wine.
Hawk’s Shadow Winery
Hawk’s Shadow Winery (7500 McGregor Ln., Dripping Springs, TX 78620) is also participating in the Christmas Wine Affair. (Tickets are sold out.) Otherwise, you can make an appointment to attend a tasting.
Parmeson Wines
You can make a reservation for up to six people for outside table seating at Parmeson (5300 Bell Springs Rd. Dripping Springs, TX 78620). You may be able to enjoy music with your wine. Visit the Parmeson Wines Facebook page to find out when musicians will show up there.
Slowpokes Texas Wine Tour Company
Unlike the other wineries, Slowpokes Texas Wine Tour Company (509 W. Mercer St.
Dripping Springs, Texas 78620) is exactly as its name states, a wine touring company. Currently, they can accommodate private tours of seven or more guests on Friday and Saturday. Sunday through Thursday tours require at least five guests. Give them a call for the latest options and stay safe.
Solaro Estate
Would you like to meet Moscato or Miguel? Head to Solaro (13111 Silver Creek Rd., Dripping Springs, TX 78620) to see the resident horses. The estate is open for tastings and bottle purchases that must be consumed onsite. They recommend making reservations before you go.
