One of the biggest traditions for Dripping Springs is experiencing the magic of the season at Christmas on Mercer Street. Come relish the sights and sounds at the annual Dripping Springs event where downtown transforms into a festival filled with Christmas shopping, live entertainment, arts and crafts, pony rides, children’s activities and much more.
Arrive hungry as there will be local food vendors on hand. Santa Claus appears at 10 am. The annual Lighting of the Tree occurs at 6:15 pm in the Triangle known as Veterans Memorial Park at E. Mercer Street, Ranch Road 12, and Hwy. 290.

This annual Fredericksburg lighting event is wunderbar and it’s not to be missed! Fredericksburg kicks off the holiday season with the official lighting ceremony of its genuine German pyramid and community Christmas tree on Main Street Marktplatz. After the short lighting ceremony at 6:30 pm, live entertainment will keep the festivities going.

Capture picture-perfect moments at Fredericksburg’s signature illuminated parade packed with floats, lights, music, and fun for the whole family. The Light the Night Christmas Parade will happen rain or shine as it’ll make its way down Main Street between Washington and Edison Streets. Free seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis or you can purchase tickets to reserve bleacher seating.

Every year, the Peddler Show produces 24 shows and no two are alike because each features unique juried artisans, crafters, designers, boutiques, and jewelers from all over the country. Returning shoppers will always see something new even if they’ve been coming for all 42 years.
Stroll every aisle across three buildings with shops side-by-side for your perusing. You’ll find the latest styles in clothing, trendy handbags and totes, accessories, rustic furniture, floral arrangements, gourmet treats, and more. Parking is free and admission varies. If you haven’t been to a Fredericksburg Trade Days at Sunday Farms, here’s your chance to discover more than 350 vendors in one spot! The location itself is a sight to see as it is near the Pedernales River, lavender trails, wineries, Luckenbach, and Enchanted Rock. If you want to treat yourself, consider staying at one of the many bed and breakfasts in the area.
They have a Biergarten where adults can listen to live music while enjoying a wide selection of beer. You’ll also find seven barns and acres of everything you can imagine from antiques and ranch furniture to candles and food.
