About Vista Brewing
The brewery sits on 21 acres of land in the beautiful Hill Country. Not only do they have a brewery, tasting room, and farm-to-table restaurant, but you’ll also find an organic farm, apiary, private event spaces, and live music there.
Farmer Noël, who runs the onsite farm, shares her knowledge of soil and productive veggies in a monthly class. This class is for anyone who wants to build a home garden or learn from an experienced farmer. The classes are held on the second Saturday of the month. Newest Brew at Vista Brewing
When you go, ask about Zwickeled Pink, their newest beer. It’s an unfiltered, unpasteurized Czech-style pilsner. It has been dry-hopped with Yakima Chief Hops Pink Boots Hops Blend resulting in a hoppy lager.
Drinkers describe it as crisp and tropical with grassy, earthy, and papaya notes. It’s available on draft as in crowlers/growlers to-go. Vista Brewing has pledged to donate a portion of sales of each beer to the Pink Boots Scholarship Fund to support education for women in the beer industry.
Live Music in Driftwood
Every Thursday night is Vista Vinyl Night. Come on down for dinner while Vista spins their house record collection. You can bring in a record to share! Fridays are the Driftwood Nights Songwriter’s Series benefitting Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). This is your chance to enjoy an intimate evening of songs and stories behind them with the songwriters.
On Sunday Funday, you can listen to live music under the oaks. A beer garden stage sits at the roots of a 500-year-old heritage live oak tree. This is serenity to the max.
