About the Vodka Distillery in Dripping Springs
Founded in 2010, Deep Eddy Vodka gets its inspiration from the oldest swimming hole in Austin, Texas. It was a place where everyone could come together for a good time that no one wanted to end. It was also a place where strangers are friends you haven’t met yet. That’s what Deep Eddy Vodka is about.
The distilling company eats, sleeps, and drinks for one reason and that’s to “bring people together for good times”. You can’t help but like the people behind the company as they don’t take themselves too seriously. They encourage everyone to enjoy Deep Eddy without the fancy tools and ingredients. Just pour Deep Eddy into a glass filled with ice, splash in some soda, and finish it off with a squeeze of lime.
The people behind Deep Eddy Vodka care about the community. During the 2021 Texas winter storm, the team sprang into action to raise more than $100,000 in one week to help local restaurants and provide 11,000 warm meals to residents. What to Know Before You Go
Deep Eddy Vodka welcomes people to their tasting room Thursday through Sunday. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so you won’t need a reservation. However, they recommend coming early, especially on Saturdays. They also offer tasting flights with a choice of four flavors as well as frozen vodka drinks.
Furry and human children are welcome as they’re a family-friendly place. Only people aged 21 and older with a valid, government-issued identification may consume alcohol. You can also bring food or have it delivered as long as there isn’t a food truck on-site on the day of your visit. Birthday cakes are always welcome regardless of whether there’s a food truck.
