Where can you find 130 acres of lush trees, wildlife, and miles of trails? It’s all at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, a premier venue in the Texas Hill Country. The park offers many possibilities and it’s open 24/7! And there’s also a new park in the works that you want to know about.
What Can I Do at Ranch Park?
You have many options at the park that it’ll take a lot of visits to achieve it all! You can pack a picnic and take a hike. The park contains more than 6 miles of multi-use trails. Its wide-open spaces give you plenty of room to go horseback riding or fly a kite when the wind comes sweeping in the hills. Every year in February, the park holds the Happy Trails Mountain Bike Race.
Into birdwatching? Curious about it? Follow the trails and they’ll take you to a bird viewing station over the pond. There’s something for everyone as there’s a playground that’s sure to please the kids.
The park has two features not many others have: An equestrian facility for Barrell Exhibitions and D Bar S Roping! Texas Hill Country Barrell Racing Association holds the exhibitions and practice sessions at DSRP. Visit the THCBRA Facebook page for the latest news.

Skatepark in Dripping Springs
Into skateboarding? Ranch Park has skate night every Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Be sure to fill out the liability form prior to attending. It’ll get you ready for a dream skatepark that is in the fundraising stage.
A 12,000-square-feet Dripping Springs Skatepark in the process of raising funds to open the park. The City of Dripping Springs has donated a 1.5-acre tract of land in Founders Memorial Park for the skatepark. Fundraising efforts are expected to continue through 2021 and possibly early 2022. The goal of the skatepark is to offer free recreational opportunities for children and fans of skateboarding. Check out the Drip Skateboarding Facebook page for more information and videos.
